These workshops meet the Standards of Training of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis
These 20 hour workshops will provide skills, strategies and techniques for utilizing hypnosis in clinical practice. Skill development in hypnosis requires mastery of both theoretical material and practical skills. These workshops will include 15.5 hours of lecture and demonstration and 4.5 hours of practicing hypnotic skills in small groups supervised by senior faculty.

Hypnosis can be used to help empower your patients/clients to utilize self-regulation with anxiety, fears, phobias, habit disorders or manage acute, chronic or procedural pain.
Intermediate Skills of Clinical Hypnosis Workshop:
Refine your hypnosis skills.
New hypnotic strategies and techniques.
Learn to effectively utilize hypnosis for a wide variety of clinical problems mental health, medicine, nursing and dentistry.
Techniques and types of suggestions that can be used with common behavioral problems and habit disorders.
Hypnotic skills for working with patients with anxiety and depression.
Strategies for use in pain management.
How to create metaphors that could be used with clinical problems.
Prerequisite All registrants must have taken an ASCH approved Basic Clinical Hypnosis workshop (20 hrs) at minimum.
Eligibility These workshops are open to licensed health care professionals who have already completed an ASCH approved Basic workshop in clinical hypnosis. These medical health care professionals include Physicians, Dentists, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Midwives and Anesthetists. Other medical professionals include nurses, dietitians, respiratory, physical and occupational therapists and child life specialists. Mental health professionals such as psychologists, counselors, social workers are also eligible. Students in a Masters or Doctoral Program in any of those professions are also invited to register for the workshops.
Fee $500 NMSCH Members: $475 Graduate Students: $450 Payment plans available. A $30 handling fee is deducted for cancellation. Refund requests must be received one week prior to the course or no refund available.
